About the Author/Illustrator—Stephanie Erb.
As a young girl, Stephanie had the opportunity to visit many of North America’s natural wonders. She found a sense of contentment and amazement in the beauty of nature, wherever she would find herself. From the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, to the heart of Mexico, to the pristine wilderness of Alaska, Stephanie has been able to experience a wide variety of outdoor adventures that have made a lasting impact on her life.
Currently serving as a member on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Fort Worth Nature Center, Stephanie has found that the legend of the Goatman is proving to be a wonderful opportunity to renew curiosity in exploring the outdoors. Now, as the mother of four boys, she is intent on passing along these great experiences to her children. The idea for the Cam the Man series was inspired by her youngest son and seasoned with life experiences from all of her children. The simple pleasures found in the smallest of creatures.
